About AAYCCP 2.0

A : Airlangga ASEAN+3 Youth Conference and Cultural Program (AAYCCP) is a four-day international event consists of paper competition, cultural event, city tour, and international seminar held at Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya. Organized by BEM (Student Council) Universitas Airlangga, this year would be the second installment of AAYCCP.
A : AAYCCP is a unique platform for you to meet, discuss, collaborate, and resolute with equally motivated and talented students over the most relevant issues around the world, combined with introduction and directly-involved in Indonesian cultures. As of AAYCCP 2017, delegates from more than 15 countries attended and discussed therefore created a resolution presented over Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Furthermore, this year theme would be “Mantaining ASEAN+3 Sovereignty Under Terrorism Threat”. This theme perfectly suited with current condition of national condition after Surabaya was attacked by terrorism a few months ago and also globally, terrorism will always headlining every media.
A : AAYCCP 2.0 will be held at Universitas Airlangga C Campus, Surabaya.

Requirements

A : Yes, every delegates should create an abstract based on the sub-themes. For further explanation, please read (menu “Conference”).
A : Undergraduate students from university/institute/higher institution around the world whom mainly has interest in ASEAN+3 region.
A : We don’t limitate any delegates from any universities/institutes/higher institutions. Thus, each universities may represented by more than one delegate.

Others

A : Yes, registration fees has included for delegates’ accommodation, meals, and sightseeing tickets.

Registration

A : Details about registration fee can be found at AAYCCP 2.0 Registration.
A : Participants can register via our website at AAYCCP 2.0 Registration. They may also contact our delegate affairs team at (email kontak aayccp) for any issues or queries regarding the registration process.
A : Early bird registration open on 21st August 2018.
A : Details about deadlines can be found at AAYCCP 2.0 Registration.
A : Once you registered, you will receive a mail from us within 48 hours confirming your registration. If you do not receive a mail from us within 48 hours, please mail us at airlanggaayc@gmail.com to confirm that we have received your registration.
A : In the case where a registrant is unable to attend the conference for any reason, they must inform our Liaison Officers team at airlanggaayc@gmail.com to cancel their application.
Participants who cannot attend the conference are encouraged to find somebody else to attend the conference as a substitution, and inform our Liaison Officers team of these changes.

International Delegates

A : Yes, having a passport is must due every participants must submit their passport number on application form.
A : There will be an airport pick-up for every delegates. Universitas Airlangga situated in the city center of Surabaya. You can take there by public transportation (e.g. bus, offline taxi, and online-based transportation).

A : No, the registration fee does not include any form of travel insurance. International participants are advised to get your own insurance before travelling to Singapore.
A : Weather in Surabaya is generally hot and humid. However, the buildings are mostly always air-conditioned and tend to get slightly cold. Participants will be expected to bring their formal attire, smart casual, and university uniform (if any) on this four-day event.
